Patrick Leddin, PhD, has over three decades of leadership experience spanning military, corporate, and academic roles. His longstanding relationship with FranklinCovey includes serving as a 4DX Regional Practice Leader, Senior Delivery Consultant, and Director of Strategic Partnerships. He played a pivotal role in launching The 5 Choices to Extraordinary Productivity workshop, introducing it to clients across the U.S., Europe, and Asia, and has implemented 4DX solutions for organizations in a variety of industries, including hospitality, transportation, consumer packaged goods, and manufacturing, across the U.S., Caribbean, and Europe. Patrick also co-authored the FranklinCovey book Building a Winning Culture in Government. 

In 2001, Patrick founded Wedgewood Consulting Group, which grew to offices in four states, achieved double-digit annual revenue growth each year, and earned a spot on the Inc. 5,000 list of fastest-growing businesses in the United States. The company was acquired in 2012. 

Patrick is a Wall Street Journal best-selling author of The Five-Week Leadership Challenge: 35 Action Steps to Become the Leader You Were Meant to Be. His forthcoming book, Disrupt Everything: Every Team Member, Entrepreneur, and Leader Needs to Disrupt. Now., co-authored with the Guinness World Record holder for 62 #1 New York Times bestsellers, James Patterson, releases in 2025. This groundbreaking book will reach millions of hands globally, inspiring leaders to embrace disruption as a positive force for success. 

For five years, Patrick hosted the Leadership Lab Podcast, ranked among the top 1% of podcasts globally, where he interviewed thought leaders like Stephen M.R. Covey and Patrick Lencioni. He now hosts FranklinCovey’s C-Suite Conversations Podcast, focusing on insights from senior leaders to help listeners achieve what matters most. 

A former Associate Professor and Director of the Practice of Business Studies at Vanderbilt University, Patrick taught Corporate Strategy, Negotiation, and Crisis Leadership for 11 years. He also led the multi-year The Disruption Project, a research initiative at Vanderbilt exploring how people and organizations succeed in the face of disruption. 

Patrick began his career as a U.S. Army Airborne Ranger in the 82nd Airborne Division, where he served as a platoon leader, company executive officer, and company commander. He earned his Doctorate in Strategic Communication from the University of Kentucky. 

Patrick lives in Nashville with his wife of over 30 years, Jamie. Both of their adult children are married to wonderful spouses, and they are proud grandparents to one grandchild. Patrick is an avid outdoorsman who has summited several mountains, including Mount Kilimanjaro.
